Lifetime Engine Guarantee

With Scott Select's Lifetime Engine Guarantee, your engine is covered for as long as you own your car. All you have to do is follow these smart maintenance guidelines and your engine will be all set thanks to our friends at Mobil.

To utilize the Scott Select lifetime engine warranty, the owner(s) of a purchased car must change their oil with Mobil oil every 4 months or 4000 miles whichever comes first. If oil changes and maintenance are not performed by Scott Select, owner must produce maintenance log with receipts. All other recommended manufacturers maintenance must be followed and documented. You must have your car checked once yearly at Scott Select free of charge using the free lifetime state inspection program.

Warranty is non-transferable. Scott Select reserves the right to replace the engine with used or replacement parts and is also not responsible for incidental or consequential damage. The lifetime engine warranty does not apply to Value Center or As-Is vehicle purchases. Additional terms and conditions apply.

3-Day Return / 30-Day Exchange Policy

3-Day return policy

To utilize the Scott Select 3 day return policy, the owner(s) of a purchased car must return the car to Scott Select within 72 hours from point of original purchase. Car must be returned in the same condition as when taken from Scott Select and have less than 150 additional miles added to the odometer. Standard repair charges will apply for all damage. Excess mileage charge of $0.20 per mile will be charged. The 3-day return policy does not apply to Value Center or As-Is vehicle purchases.

30-day exchange policy

To utilize the Scott Select 30 day exchange policy, the owner(s) of a purchased car must return the car to Scott Select within 30 days from point of original purchase. Car must be returned in the same condition as when taken from Scott Select and have less than 1250 additional miles added to the odometer. Standard repair charges will apply for all damage. Excess mileage charge of $0.20 per mile will be charged. Owner(s) must choose a replacement vehicle from current Scott Select inventory. If the original vehicle and replacement vehicle were financed, the replacement vehicle must be resubmitted to the bank for approval. If bank approval is unable to be obtained for replacement vehicle, customer must retain ownership of original vehicle. Customer agrees to pay any price difference as well as additional taxes, tag, title and documentary fees. The 30-day exchange policy does not apply to Value Center or As-Is vehicle purchases

Vehicle History Reports are available on all used cars and light trucks model year 1981 or later. Using the unique 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN), this report is instantly generated from our database of over six billion records.

Every Vehicle History Report contains information that can impact a consumer's decision about a used vehicle. The report may include:
